Excatly, is there a way of getting the software elsewhere? I have bought E51 especially to use it as BB and now cant do anything.

i dowloaded the latest BB connect software for E90 from http://businesssoftware.nokia.com/blackberry_downloads.php I selected Americas,other and Nokia E90. I downloaded the firmware Nokia S60 BlackBerry Connect 4.0 vers. 8.23.1. It worked beautifully and my NOKIA E51 is now Black berry enabled.

HI,
I recently upgraded my e51 with the latest software,
I also loaded the blackberry software as you said for the e90, america.
However I am still not able to connect blackberry
Any advise

Hi Ashish

I had a similar problem but managed to download the 8.14 from the site ( remember u must say that your phone is E90 and not E51 at the optiosn stage) from my laptop and my device was working like a beauty.. BUT not for too long before the 4 dots was crossed !!!

So,let me know.. t has become an ego issue for me to get the E51 running

Hello all, I’m note sure why there are random successes/problems getting this to work properly… I’ve since long moved on to a blackberry device so cannot confirm additional testing on problem issues…

i am user of E51 india, updated the software but the 8.14 version dosent work when the asia-pacfic region is selected..the problem faced is the blackberry folder is not created under the message menu after installation..i disturbed over it..earlier the BB was working fine unver 7.45 version and previous handset firmware….

what do i do .,…do let me know…
